ESC have been designing and producing sheet piles since the late 1980’s, and are now a leading manufacturer of cold formed sheet piles, supplying a global network. The ESC approach to sheet piling is orientated on the customers requirements. ESC believe that simply supplying a product is insufficient, therefore the level of support a customer receives when they are considering purchasing ESC products or products from partner mills of ESC’s is unprecedented. This ranges from general advise on the Client’s options to full engineering support and design, and includes necessary accessories such as painting, tie rods and other items associated with sheet piling works. ESC refer to this as a sheet piling solution.
THE ESC SHEET PILING SOLUTION
A cornerstone of the ESC approach has always been Sheet Pile Solutions, and that remains as true today as it was when the company started. ESC recognize that each project is unique, with it’s own set of challenges. Often the Client may not be fully aware of their options, so ESC try and establish a dialogue in order to gain full understanding of the requirements. From this, a solution is formulated.
A sheet pile solution is a performance based package that includes all the elements essential to provide the client with a complete solution to their sheet pile requirements, rather than just supplying a product.
Simply put, rather than just selling sheet piles, ESC consider the Client’s needs from all aspects, and then provide a solution to meet those needs. This may include engineering design, corrosion control, construction issues, planning or simply general advise.
ESC has also technical relationships with Chinese, American and Japanese steel mills. ESC conducts engineering and marketing in conjunction with these mills and as a result ESC now has the ability to offer a wide range of hot rolled sheet piles for the market place.

ESC is pleased to announce that the new 2011 ESC Cold Rolled Sections Catalogue is now available for download on our web site. Please go to the download section to get your copy.
This new catalogue illustrates what we are able to produce on lines that complement our sheet pile production. The products can be manufactured to ASTM, BS EN, AS/NZ and other standards on request.
ESC has decided to update the web site in order for it to better portray the more global reality of the Group. Area specific links are being set up in order for clients to find their ESC offices that can best serve their requirements.
In addition, the information has been streamlined to suit the regions and we hope that the new web site is simpler and at the same time more dynamic.
ESC Pile Steel Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd has completed the order for 362 tons of ESC-CRU26(650) in 11.8m lengths. The steel grade used was Q345B.
ESC is shipping the material to Civicon ltd who are a well respected civil works contractor in Kenya. These cold rolled sheet piles are perfect from temporary or permanent works. They have a 10mm steel thickness and a profile that is economical as well as durable.
The continent of Africa is a very vast market that ESC with its agents and partners are looking more and more to tap into. ESC expects many more orders to come from the African market in 2011 and beyond and is moving to be able to cater for this.
